Who's best advisor for super top up plans? Please advise.
Wish to get STU 1crore 3 lacs - 5 lacs deductible.
Firstly ensure, whenever you buy a Super Top Up Policy, your start / end dates (Date & Month) of both, your existing Base policy and proposed STU policy are more or less identical.
Secondly, please note, most insurers have now stopped issuing Fresh Health Policies below 5 Lakhs Sum Insured.
I would strongly suggest you increase your existing Base Plan to at least 10 lakhs, so that you can avail a Super Top Up Policy with 10 lakhs deductible instead of a 3 - 5 lakh deductible. This should be first priority.
Alternatively, as a last resort, you can buy a STU policy with 3 - 5 lakhs deductible with Sum Insured of 10 lakhs + another STU policy with 10 lakhs deductible and 1 cr sum insured. (Both STU Policies to be bought together - matching your base policy start/end dates).
Buying a 1 crore STU with 3 - 5 lakh deducible is not advisable, you should opt for a 10 lakh deductible plan so that your premiums are reasonable.

Thanks & Regards,
Thank you Milind and I really will use advisors from Beshak.org only.
Hi there options are plenty and the right super top up depends on what your existing plan looks like.
I am happy to help you evaluate options further based on the existing health plan that you carry... Feel free to book a complimentary call.
Pankaj& Rohit, many thanks.
My choices: Star super Surplus, ABirla super top up , Bajaj Allianz, Bharti axa super top up plus 1 comprehensive of any GIC with SI 5 lakhs.
Super Top up plan 1 cr SI deductible 3 lakh-5 lakh.
I happy if i get super top up first, then get comprehensive. STU is like building a financial nest ( kitty) for me.
Btw, would you know if ABirla, Bajaj Allianz and Bharti Axa require pre-screening medical tests for customers wishing to avail of their respective super top up plans. Star doesn't.
I do not have any PEDs nor am I suffering from any chronic disease.
Good morning Pankaj and Rohit
I would agree with Pankaj, get your evaluation done first before finalizing a plan. "Best Plan" is a dream- for you it could be something for someone else it would be something else.
