All Day Care and Partial Exhaustion Reinstatement Benefit - Difficult to find in plans?
Dear Beshak Team, I must say your threads on twitter and your articles have been very helpful. Thank you for sharing. I have followed your inputs and started assessing health care insurance products available in the market. Considering the latest data on claim settlement ratio, no. of claims, claims incurred ratio, I decided to look at Bajaj Allianz (among private players) first since it does well on criteria shared. However, on review on each of the plans, I did not find any plan which covers 'all day care' and 'partial exhaustion reinstatement benefit'. Am I missing something? Thank you. Regards.

Hey Tarun,
I would not recommend anyone to consider Claim Settlement Ratio or Incurred Claim Ratio as the filtering criteria to decide on health insurance product. Most people don't understand how these ratios hide the truth.
Beshak has published an opinion piece of these ratios in context of life insurance, but it is equally true for health insurance as well. Check it here-

Reinstatement of sun insured is a feature of only a few specific products in the market. A particular insurer may or may not offer those features in its products. I haven't observed Bajaj Allianz products that deeply, but it is possible that they don't have that feature.
Assess your need and then find a product that needs your requirements. Not the other way around.
