I am 29 & suffering from epilepsy since last 3 years due to which I am not eligible for Term insurance nor for Health insurance (both I have applied for but application got rejected).

1) How I should plan for my dependents in case of my demise?

2) Should I consider ULIPS, LIC plans etc..?

Dear Rahul

It is difficult to get insurance for a epilepsy patient .

Ypu can get a group insurance cover by joining an organisation which offers group insurance cover .

Ideally , you should participate and build a corpus for family by starting SIP of almost 30 % of your monthly income .

Build a portfolio of aggresive equity schemes and keep horizon of minimum 5 years .

Hope this will build s safety net for your dependents.

Best wishes

Shailesh
