Are Domiciliary, Organ donor expenses should take as primary parameter while buy health insurance
Hi Team,
I have bought star health silver young star policy. This plan does not cover the domiciliary expenses and organ donor expenses. Whether we should consider the above expenses as primary parameters while buying health insurance?
If those are primary parameters, Please suggest to me, how to cover those expenses without changing my base insurance
Hi Prem,
Domiciliary coverage is not critical. However, I believe coverage of organ donor expenses is important as the total cost of organ donor's surgery, organ harvesting, etc may be very high. With time, this will only increase.
You can do the following -
1) Buy a critical illness insurance to supplement your health insurance policy.
2) Port out into a health insurance that covers organ donor expenses at next renewal.
3) Buy a super top-up with coverage for organ donor expenses.

Hi Prem,
This is not a primary parameter. Don't worry too much about it.
