Care insurance charged for 2 years plan even though it is not mentioned anywhere on portal/document
I have bought Care Insurance plan on 24th July via online portal for 1 year plan. The CS team informed me that based on my age & PEDs I need to go for 2 year duration to buy the new Freedom plan. So, I bought 2-year duration plan to continue with underwriting process.
I am surprised as the policy wordings didn't mention such clause and their portal also seamlessly accepted payment for 1 year plan during first iteration.
Even CS team is not clear why such clause is missing from important contract document.
Should I continue with purchase of the plan or ask for cancellation?
