Changing agent in health insurance

Most Insurers don't allow change of intermediary in an active policy.

I have seen it happening in 2 ways -

1. The policy lapses and is reinstated with the support of another Intermediary.

2. Customer gets an NOC from the existing intermediary in favor of the new proposed intermediary and submits it to the Insurer along with renewal premium.

The above is also insurer dependent. So, I recommend that you check with your Insurer once.

This could be tricky as insurer ask from a NoC from existing intermediary. Incase you wish to move out from Policy Bazaar you could either port your policy or buy the same plan offline by an agent of your choice. Run both the plans for 2-3 yrs and then close the plan from Policy Bazaar.
