I am covered under a health plan with epilepsy marked as Permanent Exclusion. In case, I be able to stay in the same plan till the moratorium period, May I claim epilepsy related hospitalization. I got to know from one of the online insurance broker agent that I should get the claim settled for epilepsy.

We breathe insurance :)

Hello Jignesh,

This is absolutely untrue. Once a health condition has been marked as a Permanent Exclusion, there is no way any insurance company will ever pay a claim for such a disease/condition.

Please stay away from such agents, who mislead.
