Claim rejection - Incorrect date of birth in policy document

Hi,
Request you'll to guide me in the below query:
There is a difference of 6 years in the DOB mentioned in policy document (1969) & actual date of birth (1959) mentioned in age proof document.
The policy is being renewed with incorrect DOB since 5 years.
Claim has been rejected due to such discrepancy. Is there any solution to rectify the DOB on policy document retrospectively and get the rejected claim sanctioned in favour of the insured?

Dear Nikhil
Is it a typo error or is it wrongly mentioned in personal ids.
For last 5 years wrong lower premium has been taken and revision can be done with declaration of dob along with supporting evidence .
We dont think this claim can move without rectification .
