Convert from Reassure (OLD) to Reassure 2.0

Hello,

Can I convert my existing Niva Bupa Reassure policy to Reassure 2.0? I have old policy since 2 years.

Is it worth it?

From what i know, Niva is not allowing existing customers to migrate to Reassure 2.0 - the plan is only available as a fresh buy.

Otherwise, the plan certainly is better than Reassure.

I talked with their customer care, they told that during renewal it can be migrated. Pls check.

My renewal is in 10 days. I wanted to migrate to ReAssure 2.0. But customer care said no such options are available till now, it might happen next year.

As per IRDA guidelines, this should not happen & customer can choose any plan as per their wish.

Not sure Why Niva Bupa is not allowing here...

I took health insurance from niva Bupa (reassure) for my parents aged 52 and 48 of a sum assured of 10 lakhs at premium 29k with additional riders. Now at the time of renewal the premium increased by 34k stated that it's due to inflation. Whereas care insurance is offer at 30k with same benefits. Now should I port to care insurance or continue with niva Bupa
