Hi,

I have stand alone critical illness policy from Icici prudential and I have also opt for CI rider in my Hdfc life term plan.

In unfortunate event if I claim, will I get both the payouts or is there any catch?

Hi,

The answer is Yes. Critical illness is a fixed lump sum benefit paid in case of diagnosis of listed Critical illnesses.

As you are simultaneously paying premiums for both the policies, you can claim payout from both companies.

Thanks

Dear

Agree with Gurleen with one clarification .

Please check whether you declared your critical illness cover of ICICi when you applied for HDFC .

HDFC may refuse to pay with condition that previous cover was not declared .
