Here are the answers to your queries:

  1. Can this be a problem if i Do a Cashless claim from the Base policy and Top up policy (Not sure as both are different companies will i be able to do this while claiming)

It is possible to do a cashless claim from both your base policy and your top-up policy, even if they are from different companies. However, there are a few things to keep in mind.

First, you will need to check with both insurance companies to see if they have a cashless tie-up with the hospital where you are seeking treatment. If they do, then you can simply submit your claim to the hospital, and they will coordinate with both insurance companies to get the claim processed.

Second, you will need to make sure that the total amount of your claim does not exceed the sum insured of both policies. If it does, then you will need to pay the excess amount yourself.

Third, you will need to keep track of all the expenses incurred during your treatment, as you will need to submit these to both insurance companies when you make your claim.

Yes, you can do a cashless claim from your base policy and claim the remaining amount from your top-up policy. However, there are a few things to keep in mind.

First, you will need to make sure that the total amount of your claim does not exceed the sum insured of your base policy. If it does, then you will need to pay the excess amount yourself.

Second, you will need to submit a claim to your top-up policy for the remaining amount. When you do this, you will need to provide proof of the expenses incurred during your treatment.

Finally, it is important to note that the claims process for top-up policies can be more complicated than for base policies. This is because top-up policies are often designed to cover specific expenses, such as critical illness or overseas medical treatment. As a result, you may need to provide more documentation when you make a claim
