Yes, it is easy to get a health insurance cover even for Indians with foreign nationality status. Most Health Insurance companies in India are offering the coverage to members with a status such as NRI, OCI, PIO etc. There are certain formalities that you need to complete in terms of sharing relevant proofs & it is simple to get a comprehensive health insurance plan. However these policies would offer coverage for hospitalization expenses only within India (except for few special plans which provide coverage internationally subject to certain policy terms & conditions)
