HDFC Ergo dental coverage query: wisdom tooth extraction

Hello. I have two wisdom teeth in both sides of my mouth, and my dentist as per the latest x-ray(May) told me that once they start hurting I'd require surgery to get them removed. Now, I have 10L cover of HDFC Ergo Optima Restore, in it's first year(purchased last Jan).. will I get coverage for this procedure, when I need it?

Hi sinchan,
Dental treatments of any kind are not covered under this policy unless they are caused by accidents.
This is a standard exclusion under most of the policies in the industry unless specified otherwise.
