Health insurace claim

Dear Experts,

I have a question regarding a health insurance claim. I hold a retail health policy with an insurer, and I submitted a claim 45 days ago. The insurer is currently verifying the claim, but I suspect that they may reject it due to a pre-existing disease, even though the patient did not have any pre-existing condition.

Fortunately, I also have a corporate policy through my company that has no exclusions. If the retail policy issuer rejects my claim, can I submit it through my corporate policy?

However, I have noticed that the terms and conditions of the corporate policy issuer state that the claim must be initiated within 30 days of discharge, which has already passed. Therefore, I am unsure if the corporate policy issuer will entertain my claim.

Any advice on this will be really appreciated.

Dear Devesh

You need to inform the corporate insurance within 48 hours of admission. If you want cash less else you have 30 days to apply for reimbursement.

If your insurance company reject then you can apply for reimburse through corporate insurance . In case of any problem , you can explain all details with honesty . All Insurance companies are there to settle claim when it is genuine and intent is good .

Best wishes
