My father had angioplastery in 2012, he is now 59, i was searching a health insurance for him . Policy bazaar and star agents claim that he is eligible for star comprehensive, is it true? if yes then why is there star cardiac care plan for heart patients? i am i interested in comprehensive as it it has way less restrictions then cardiac care but is there any catch in buying comprehensive?

Hello,
There is no catch in opting for a comprehensive health insurance plan for your father. In fact, it's the best option as it provides broader coverage with fewer restrictions. Disease-specific plans, like the Star Cardiac Care plan come with limitations and restrictions. They should be considered only if one is not able to get a comprehensive health insurance plan.
I hope this helps. Thank you!
