Here are some answers to your queries about health insurance:

Why health insurers don't cover dental expenses?

Dental care is often considered a separate type of insurance, and many health insurance plans do not cover it. This is because dental care is not considered to be as essential as medical care. However, there are some health insurance plans that do offer dental coverage, so it is important to compare plans before you choose one.

Does any Mediclaim cover preexisting Cataracts for senior citizens from day 1?

Some Mediclaim plans do cover preexisting cataracts for senior citizens from day 1, but others may have a waiting period of up to 2 years. It is important to read the terms and conditions of the plan carefully to see if preexisting cataracts are covered.

Why most health insurance don't cover people more than 65, since they need it the most?

Health insurance companies are businesses, and they need to make a profit. As people get older, they are more likely to get sick and need medical care. This means that older people are more likely to file claims, which can lead to higher premiums for everyone. As a result, many health insurance companies choose not to cover people over the age of 65.

And if any insurers cover people more than 65, what would be premium assuming one Male of 71 year and Female of 65 (Note - male had Covid in 2020 Dec and also hip bone surgery during same time)

The premium for health insurance for people over the age of 65 can vary depending on a number of factors, including age, gender, health history, and the type of plan. However, it is likely to be higher than the premium for younger people. In the case of the male who had Covid in 2020 December and also hip bone surgery during the same time, the premium may be even higher. This is because he is considered to be a higher risk.

If you are looking for health insurance for people over the age of 65, it is important to compare plans from different insurers. You should also be sure to ask about any discounts or waivers that may be available.
