Hospital Discount and Propritionate Room Charges

Hi,
My grandmother has a medical policy from care Insurance. The sum insured is 5.00 Lakh and 1% is the room rent capping. So i can claim room upto rs 5000/-.
If the hospital is giving a discount of 15% to the insurance company on the expenses or say room rent.
So what is the effective room Limit for Me.
Is it 5000/- Only or is it 6000/- (approx) as hospital is getting a discount of 15%.

Hi Vishal,
As far as I know, any discounts if provided by the hospital to the insurance company does not get passed on to the customers. Your room rent limit would be the same as mentioned in your policy document.
