Hi Tanu Degi,

It'll be best if you can connect with the advisor who helped you purchase the plan, ideally you'll need to share the first examination report from the treating doctor as proof and other test reports.

If purchased directly, connect with the customer care team of the insurer

Process of claim

1. Visit branch of insurance company or call service center and demand claim form .

2. Fill the claim form alngwith evidence that you suffered from a disease whoch is listed as critical disease in policy document.

3. Post submission , you may be asked few questions and claim will be settled .

Thanks for your reply sir,

The problem that i am having is the disease i am suffering is not included in the critical illness in the list and it is a rare disease, but the treatment doctor sujjested for the discease is included in it.

Hello Tanu,

If the treatment suggested is specifically mentioned in the list of critical illnesses, then you must lodge the claim with the insurer.

You simply need to download the claim form from the insurer's website and submit all documents mentioned in the claim form itself. The most important document will be the diagnosis of the disease, and the prescription of the treatment (as per the list of critical illnesses)
