Importance of AYUSH treatment coverage

I am comparing 2 plans HDFC Ergo Optima Restore and Max Bupa Reassure. While the features wise both plans looks similar, HDFC Ergo has wider hospital network than Max Bupa but HDFC Ergo Optima doesn't cover AYUSH treatment which is covered by Max Bupa Reassure.
So my question is how much weightage I should give to AYUSH treatment coverage while choosing a health plan.

Hello Jani,
Health Insurance usually extends coverage for AYUSH only in case of inpatient treatment taken at Govt recognized facilities/hospitals. This is not very useful practically unless you believe in taking inpatient treatment at a Unani or an Ayurveda facility. So I wouldn't assign any weightage to AYUSH while choosing my health insurance plan.
