Hi Suman,

With the removal of ARMD as an exclusion from health insurance, intra vitreal injections are covered. However, do check for waiting period in the policy for the same.

Thanks Anuj Ji for this information! I was going through standardisation guidelines by IRDAI available in public domain, where it was mentioned that ARMD can not be excluded! Can you pls share some more light on it!

Pl refer chapter 5 which mentions intra vitreal injections permissible .
