Choosing the right health insurance policy for your family is an important decision. Here are some factors to consider when selecting a health insurance policy for your family:

Coverage Amount: You mentioned that you are looking for coverage of 7 lakhs. This seems like a reasonable amount, but you should also consider factors like inflation and the cost of healthcare in your area. It's generally a good idea to have a coverage amount that's sufficient to cover medical expenses for your family. You might want to consider slightly higher coverage if your budget allows.

Family Members: You have a spouse, an 8-year-old daughter, and a 4-month-old son. Ensure that the policy you choose covers all family members. Some policies might have age restrictions for children or specific requirements.

Network of Hospitals: Check if the insurance company has a wide network of hospitals in your area. This ensures that you have access to quality healthcare facilities.

Pre-Existing Conditions: Since you mentioned that everyone in your family is healthy with no known diseases, it's a good starting point. However, check if there's any waiting period for pre-existing conditions. Some policies have waiting periods before they cover certain pre-existing conditions.

Maternity Benefits: If you plan to have more children, you might want to consider a policy that covers maternity expenses. Some policies offer this benefit.

No-Claim Bonus: Look for policies that offer a no-claim bonus. This means that if you don't make any claims in a policy year, your sum insured increases.

Premiums: Compare the premium costs for policies with similar coverage. Make sure the policy is affordable for you in the long run.

Claim Process: Understand the claim process of the insurance company. It should be easy and hassle-free.

Riders: Some policies offer additional riders for critical illness, accidental coverage, etc. You can consider adding these to your policy.

Reviews and Reputation: Research the insurance company's reputation and read reviews from existing policyholders.

I can't provide specific policy recommendations because policies can vary by region and may change over time. It's essential to contact insurance providers in your area, discuss your family's specific needs, and get quotes from them. You might want to consult with an insurance agent or financial advisor to help you navigate the options and make an informed decision. Be sure to read the policy documents carefully and understand the terms and conditions before making a final decision.
