Hi,

I have to take two policies one for me (age 23) and one for my mom(50) and dad (56). I have shortlisted my policy to two - max bupa reassure and hdfc ergo optima restore.

Hdfc ergo is slightly expensive but has a wider network and a higher brand value. Rest all benefits are the same.

I am having trouble deciding which to choose. Could you please guide me.

Hi Chhavi

If one looks at both these products they both are competitive, Reassure has few additional features with safeguard benefit and unlimited restoration benefits.

However, as you have identified HDFC has relatively higher number of network hospitals, which is one of the important things to consider. You should preferably opt for the insurer who has wider hospital network in the city where your reside. Please take help of an Insurance Advisor preferably recommended by family and friends, someone who has good experience and can help out at the time of claims

Dear Chhavi

Choice should be msde on the basis of city you reside . Visit your hospital and take recommendations from thrre .

Every brand has its unique geographic advantage and your local hospital should be best testimonial.
