I heard that medical test is mandatory for term insurabce. I bought 1 cr term cover from HDFC in 2017 and at that time no medicat test was conducted. Does it cause any issues. I would like to buy additional 1 cr cover now do i need to go for medical test.

Hello Sukesh jee,

There is no issue if medical test was not done in 2017.

For additional 1Cr now, pre policy medical check up will be done on the basis of which policy will be issued.

Also, this will not impact your existing policy taken in 2017 in any way.

Thanks
