Obese person with BP and Diabetes - how to get health insurance

Hi, I am a obese person (125 Kg) and also have BP and diabetes (recent) and 48 years old. I am looking to get an health insurance for me and also the family. In the past I got rejected by Appollo Munich due to my obese nature I think. Is there any provided who will be willing to provide the policy even if it means I will be paying a higher premium than normal person.

Given your medical history, it seems difficult to obtain health insurance from private insurers. You could try with public sector insurers.

It may be difficult but you should explore possibilities with New India insurance and Star Health .
Please declare all facts .
Ypu can also try with Brokers who are supposed to represent client with multiple insurance company .
Another option will be to buy through public sector bank where you join a group and you case will be accepted as group insurance .
Pl keep me updated , if I find an insurance , I shall update you company who is willing to accept your case
