Do you suggest I move out of this insurance which we have had for around 5 years and take another one outside of Bank ?

Is there a way to maintain continuity instead of starting fresh?

You can raise a grievance with the Insurance Ombudsman or take paid service of an Insurance Samadhan (as mentioned by Mr. Shailesh Kumar)

Regarding Portability:

We would recommend that you first clear of your disputes, get your claims paid.

Note, since your policy is group insurance, you will be able to port only to the same insurer's retail insurance policy - so you will be able to port out of the bank policy, but not out of the insurer.

If you want to port out of the insurer, you will have to do two portings in two years - one from group to retail (same insurer) and to another insurer in the next year's renewal.

Note, portability is not as simple as mobile number portability. Insurers evaluate your case and may decide to approve or decline your portability proposal into their retail policy. In your case, since there are claims the chances of portability are even lower.
