Dear Aman

You are taking a wise decision , points to remember

  1. Declare all facts with clarity , do not ignore any facts like past medical history . Remember claims are refused even for mention of hypertension or any other disease in past . You give all details , let company decide .
  2. Least waiting period .
  3. Exclusions for specific diseases .
  4. Claim arrangement - is it direct or TPA . Prefer direct .
  5. List of network hospitals in place of residence . Opt which has best network hospitals .
  6. Pre and post hospitalisation cover .
  7. Day care cover .
  8. Does cover have restore or recharge .

Go for minimums Rs 10 lakh sum assured.
