Dear Beshak Team,

I am 31 year old male with 3.0 Lakhs coverage for self from employer.

Currently I am only looking for parents health insurance.

I am looking for health insurance for My parents: mother (age: 55 years ) and father (age: 63 years) with coverage of 5 Lakhs.

Mother is suffering from spine related diseases due to age and has undergone carpel tunnel syndrome surgery in the past.

Father is not having any medical issue.

My concerns are as follows:

  1. Which option is best to cover parents: individually or in the floater form (combined policy for mother & father)?
  2. Suggest best possible policy plan from insurer or list of insurers as per your recommendations.

Thank you for your guidance!!

We breathe insurance :)

Hello Sagar,

Thanks for your detailed question.

Here are your answers:

  1. A family floater with enough coverage is better than an individual plan because of the float benefits.
  2. We would recommend you to go through our 1-to-1 free personal consultation service. With this service, you can speak to an advisor of your choice and then get a comprehensive recommendation PDF report with brands, coverage, floater/individual, super top-up amongst many other recommendations. This report is 100% unbiased and entirely powered by Beshak Research.

Let us know if you have any questions.
