Porting from Niva Bupa Reassure to Care Supreme for 61 years old parents with PED- diabetes,BP?

I currently have a Niva Bupa Reassure policy for my parents with a coverage of 7.5 lacs and PED - diabetes and BP for mother in which they have already served 2 years. I had ported to this policy in 2020 after continuing with OICL - Silver family plan of coverage 5 lacs for 5 years in which I had made 1 claim for COVID hospitalization for my mother. Recently i tried claiming the free health check up via reimbursement in Niva Bupa but had a very bad experience of customer service as they do not have onlince facility for such claims nor the process is clearly defined on their website. So I was thinking of porting to some other plan in order to avoid such hassle in claim process. Hence the best options which I came across were Care Supreme and HDFC ergo optima. But my preference is for Care supreme as the premium (without co-pay) is almost 12 K lesser than my renewal premium with current policy that too with complete coverage of PED from day 30. But i want to understand the reason for such less premium for Care supreme even though my parents are 61 years old with PED and should I port to Care supreme?

Dear Piyush,

If your policy is due for renewal in the next 60 days and you are actively looking to port your existing policy, it is better than you explore our free 1 on 1 consultation process with one of the advisors on beshak platform.

You will be taken through a detailed and quick process to find out best available plans across the industry based on your health profile.

Also you will have the added advantage of having an experienced professional by your side for long term hand holding and support in any future claims.

Lastly, for your apprehension about the low premium of care health, so different companies have different premiums based on their internal processes, product coverages, client profiles onboarded and also their respective incurred claims ratios. Premiums are subject to periodic reviews and can rise upon renewals. So there Can be a scenario in future, where care insurance products may turn out to be costlier than competition

Hope this explanation helps

Best wishes

Care is not good when it comes to claims. They will give cheap premium at the start and then will increase the premium on renewal. Check the premium for 65 years 71 years its very high.Care agents wont help you during claims. You can see twitter complaints. Better you ask with beshak advisor before porting otherwise you ll suffer during claims
