I bought LIC Tech Term and paid premium in July and since then my policy is still not issued. Process is very very hectic and you will have zero support of LIC. No support contacts also.

So better go for Private players. Would suggest TATA AIA or MAX LIFE Smart Secure PLus

I have helped a few clients buy LIC's online term plans. The process is cumbersome.

If you prefer to buy from LIC, opt for their regular offline term plans through a trusted LIC Agent. Alternatively, you can buy term insurance from a leading private player like HDFC Life, ICICI Prudential, Max Life, Tata AIA, etc.
