Query about super top up
If I have both super top-up 20lac with 10 lac deductible and base policy with 10 lac with national insurance if a claim arises beyond 10 lac will it be cashless for super top-up as well as we know most of the super top-up works on a remurisbment basis?
( I have three individual policy one for my mother, my maternal aunt, and for myself, as my age is low now both my mother and my maternal aunt policy with max Bupa with to-up from the same company max Bupa and I have a policy from National both for super top-up and base policy so will it all cashless in case of super top-up if get treated under network hospital if the company accepts claim under the base policy as cashless in case of emergency
Hey Harivansh,
In the case of your mother and your aunt, you mentioned their policies (base as well as top-up) are with Max Bupa. So yes, in their case you will be able to use both base and top-up in same cashless admission should the deductible trigger as per policy.
Now in your case, policies are from National. Only if the TPA is same in both base and top-up, then you have a chance to get continuous cashless benefit. If TPAs differ, then you will have to make one separate reimbursement claim in either of the policies you choose not to claim cashless from.
Could you please let me know who is the TPA in each of your plans?
Happy to answer if you have any further follow-up queries.

Yes, technically it can be cashless for supertop-up as well. On ground, it could be difficult to be able to make both claims under cashless, especially if the insurer or hospital does not cooperate.
