Question regarding Cataract
Can the insurance company reject the claim of cataract just because the insured does not disclose he was wearing spectacles during taking the policy even though there is no question in the proposal form I know most of the proposal form is open-ended ,,,
Hi Harivansh,
Cataract claim cannot be rejected without any reasonable grounds. How old is your policy? and which insurance company/plan is it?
If you share more information, we can help you based on the policy wordings.
There is a waiting period of such illnesses/diseases, which are covered only after the initial cooling period of 24-48 months as standard procedure of various insurance companies.

Dear Hari
It can not be rejected on ground of non disclosure of wearing spectacles unless ypu are using it due to some medical complications.
