Regarding agent change during renewal
Share I have a policy from the direct channel of Niva Bupa
can I add an agent or advisor during the renewal as the company is saying it is not possible for them to convert direct sales to intermediary ones

Hi,
It's not possible to change from direct channel to Agent channel .
If your policy is in agency channel then we could change the agent by taking existing agent NOC and company relationship manager NOC.
In your case as you have mentioned you are stuck with direct channel and no one can give personalised service.
I suggest to PORT there are other good options if you feel Nuva Bupa is my product then next year renewal again you can come back to Nuva Bupa under agent .
By doing this exercise you get a proper financial advisor who can be there with your family for all kind of support.

Hello Harivansh,
Unfortunately, many insurance companies do not permit a change of sales channel, once the policy is issued.
