Regarding Health Insurance Email Id & Phone Number.
This question is addressed to Mr. shailesh Kumar and other insurance experts.
I am a married female and 3 years back I purchased health insurance for my father. While purchasing the policy, I became the proposer, however, I had registered the phone number and email id of my brother in the policy as I am married and love far away and my brother takes care of my father. So my intention of giving his number and email id was that in case of emergency since I live far, he can directly coordinate with hospitals.
Now, I am planning to purchase health insurance for myself and my spouse from the same company from which my father's policy is going on. So, in this policy I want to use my own phone number and email id. Also, I will be putting my In laws address.
So, my doubt is that after I puchase my new policy, I will be proposer in two policies with same company - one of my father and other of self and in both the policies my address will be different and email and phone number will also be different. Also, moreover, my brother is also planning to purchase policy for him self with same insurance company and he will use his own email id and phone number which is also registered in my father's policy.
So can this whole scene create problem in future claim in any of the policy? We are not willing to change email and phone number anywhere.
