Hello Everyone,

I want to know about the Health Insurance offered by Navi Insurance.

Are they reliable and what is their track record?

Further, premiums of insurance offered by them are on the lower side as compared to HDFC Ergo or any other major insurance company.

Hi Tushar,

Reliability of Health Insurance. As a consumer this is a very fair question. But I want to clarify that all health insurance companies are reliable. They are bound to pay genuine claim.

How fast they settle the claim ? most of the companies are focusing on customer service. They want to settle as fast as possible.

There are three specific reason for premiums of Navi being lower:

1) You can buy only through their APP. Where other insurance companies sell via agents/broker. Navi is able to save cost on commissions which other companies are not.

2) Navi is a new brand. They have positioned their pricing to capture the market.

3) Product of Navi and HDFC ERGO can be very different. Request you to read terms and conditions and features of products before buying insurance.

Regards

Nimesh
