Hi, does anyone have details of group health insurance policies offered by banks other than PNB which covers the entire family at a nominal premium. I am aware of the disadvantages of having a group health insurance policy issued by a bank than an individual policy. But need to consider the same for a relative since he does not have a capacity to pay decent premium

Dear Nikhil
Group Health cover is an good option and probability of getting a claim os as good as individual policy . Logically , insurer would be linient with group member as insurer is getting large number with less effort and with low cost of acquisition.
So buy any cover from a bank .

Hi Nikhil,
Most national banks have some scheme or the other around a group Mediclaim policy.
Each bank will have different criteria. One will have to check with each bank to know the criteria as well the terms and conditions of the group policy and accordingly opt for it.
