Hello all. Can someone please help me in this question. What can be the right answer for it according to the UK 🇬🇧 ? Thank you


Jo is currently insured with insurer Z . She notifies the insurer of a subsidence claim that has occurred over a period of time when she was first covered by insurer X and then by insurer Y. Which insurer(s) would settle the claim?


A) Insurer X only

B) insurers X and Y oy

C ) insurer Z only

D) insurer X,Y and Z

Hey Zaara,

Hope you are doing well! As far as my knowledge goes, subsidence is covered by almost all home insurance policies, however, a claim for subsidence is payable only if your home has never suffered subsidence in the past. This means that the correct answer to your question should be 'Insurer X only'
