want to buy health insurance for my 57 years old father
hi Mahavir sir. i want to buy health insurance for my 57 years old father who has hypertension. what type of insurance should i get. also i am 27 years old should i buy insurance separately for myself.
Hello Anuj,
Hope you are doing well! The answer shared by Mr. Agrawal is right. It is not recommended you include yourself along with your father in the same floater policy. Also, I highly recommend you to purchase health insurance for yourself. Now is the best time!
If you are looking to buy, we can help you out! Recently we have started a new service here at Beshak called Beshak Community Connect (BCC). With this service, we connect customers like you with our curated and experienced financial advisors from our community who help them with all their insurance requirements - what to do with your existing policies, handholding at the time of purchase and claims, etc.
I believe one of our financial advisors would be able to help you in a much better way to make a decision with respect to your health insurance.
If you wish to connect, request you to kindly fill up this form at your earliest convenience and one of our community executives will get in touch with you - https://beshak.typeform.com/assisted-reco
Thanks!
Never include your parents in your family floater plan as the premium will charge based on the eldest member as we know more the age more the premium so it is better you buy yourself a separate policy and a separate policy for your parents
1) Look for the comprehensive plan first than senior citizen plan as this senior citizen plan comes with sub-limit and copay
2) Look for the plans which say all daycare treatment is covered (i.e there should be no list of day care ), as the insurance company can say see this daycare is not on the list so will not cover as some PSU specifically says we can cover surgery which is not on the list but on a case by case basis
3) Look for a cashless hospital network in your city
4) Always make full disclosure do not hide anything from insurance companies
These are a few things to keep in mind there can be N number of security checks but these are the main ones I think
