Aditya Birla Activ One (NXT)
The Aditya Birla Activ One (NXT) covers hospitalisation expenses as well as pre and post hospitalisation expenses. Pre-hospitalisation expenses incurred for 90 days before hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation expenses incurred for 180 days after discharge are covered up to the sum insured. It also covers all day care treatments, domiciliary treatments and modern treatments up to the sum insured. Inpatient costs of the organ donor in case of organ transplantation are covered up to the sum insured as well. Do note that the donor’s pre and post-hospitalisation expenses will not be covered. The plan also covers non-medical expenses with no cap or limit when you opt for it as an add on.
Under Aditya Birla Activ One (NXT), there is no room rent limit or ICU rent limit. It also does not have any copayment or deductible limit. Further, there is no limit on common treatments/surgeries like cataract treatment, joint replacement surgery, etc. These are covered up to the sum insured. There is a waiting period of 48 months applicable for pre-existing diseases and a waiting period of 24 months for specific diseases.

The Aditya Birla Activ Health Platinum – Premier Plan provides coverage for hospitalisation expenses as well as pre and post hospitalisation expenses. Pre-hospitalisation expenses are covered for 60 days before hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation expenses are covered for 180 days after discharge, both up to the sum insured. The insurer also covers 586 day care treatments, domiciliary treatments (except 9 illnesses), organ donor expenses related to harvesting the organ, and modern treatments up to the sum insured. The plan also covers the cost of consumables up to the sum insured – if opted for as an add-on. Aditya Birla Activ Health Platinum – Premier Plan lets you choose any room type without imposing any limit. And, there is no ICU rent limit and copayment or deductible limit. Moreover, the insurer doesn’t place a cap on common treatments/surgeries like cataract treatment, joint replacement surgery, etc. Please note that Aditya Birla Activ Health Platinum – Premier Plan has a waiting period of 36 months for pre-existing diseases and a waiting period of 24 months for specific diseases and 48 months for genetic disorders.
