The HDFC Ergo Optima Restore Plan provides comprehensive coverage including hospitalisation costs, pre-hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation expenses. Please note that the pre-hospitalisation expenses are covered for a period of up to 60 days before admission and the post-hospitalisation expenses are covered up to 180 days after discharge – up to the sum insured. Furthermore, the policy offers a comprehensive range of benefits, encompassing all day care treatments, domiciliary treatments, harvesting expenses related to organ donation, and modern treatments up to the sum insured. And, consumables are also covered up to the sum insured if you choose to include this as an add-on to your policy. The HDFC Ergo Optima Restore Plan offers flexibility with no room rent limit, allowing you to select any room without constraints. Also, there is no ICU rent limit, copayment, or deductible limit. Notably, the policy does not impose any restrictions on common medical treatments or surgeries, such as cataract treatment, joint replacement surgery, etc. This means they are covered up to the sum insured. Please bear in mind that pre-existing diseases have a 36-month waiting period, while specific diseases have a 24-month waiting period under this plan.

Reliance General Health Gain (Power) Plan covers hospitalisation expenses as well as pre and post hospitalisation expenses. If you opt for add-ons, pre-hospitalisation expenses are covered for 90 days before hospitalisation, and post-hospitalisation expenses are covered for 180 days after discharge - up to the sum insured. Inpatient organ donor expenses are covered up to 50% of the sum insured, with a maximum cap of Rs 5 lakhs. Modern treatments and consumables are covered up to the sum insured if you go for an add-on. The Reliance General Health Gain (Power) Plan gives you the freedom to choose any room without imposing any limits if you opt for an add-on. Further, it has no ICU rent limit, copay, or sub-limits on common treatments/surgeries like cataract treatment, joint replacement surgery, etc. However, the plan does come with optional deductibles of Rs 10,000/Rs 25,000/Rs 50,000/Rs 1,00,000. The Reliance General Health Gain (Power) Plan has a waiting period of 12 months for pre-existing diseases if you go for an add-on and a waiting period of 24 months for specific diseases.
