Manipal Cigna ProHealth Prime (Protect)
As part of the Manipal Cigna ProHealth Prime (Protect) Plan, hospitalisation expenses as well as pre and post-hospitalisation expenses are covered. Pre-hospitalisation expenses are covered for 60 days before hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation expenses are covered for 180 days after discharge, both up to the sum insured. Additionally, the plan covers all day care treatments, inpatient organ donor expenses, and modern treatments up to the sum insured. Domiciliary treatments, except 8 illnesses, are covered up to 10% of the sum insured. Furthermore, the plan also covers the cost of consumables up to the sum insured, if you opt for an add-on. The Manipal Cigna ProHealth Prime (Protect) Plan lets you pick any hospital room; it doesn’t impose any room rent limits. It has no ICU rent limit if you opt for an add-on. There are no sub-limits on common treatments/surgeries like cataract treatment, joint replacement surgery, etc., no copays, and no deductibles. The Manipal Cigna ProHealth Prime (Protect) Plan has a waiting period of 24 months for pre-existing diseases and a waiting period of 24 months for specific diseases.
