  ・IndiaFirstLife Guaranteed Protection Plus Plan - Premium is calculated for a 30-year-old, non-smoker, married male, for a sum assured of INR 1 Crore, up to the age of 75 years, paying annual premiums for 40 years. 

  ・TATA AIA Maha Raksha Supreme - Premium is calculated for a 30-year-old, non-smoker, married male, for a sum assured of INR 2 Crore, up to the age of 65 years, paying annual premiums, till the end of the policy. 

6- The overall ratings do not include the premium rating. This is because we believe that the affordability of premiums is a personal thing. Something that seems unaffordable or expensive to one person could seem cheap and affordable to another, regardless of their income. We leave it up to our users to decide whether the price they pay seems reasonable for the features they receive.

7- The Response time on Twitter (Beta) was calculated using a sample set of tweets from February to August 2023 - (Analyzed in September 2023).

8- Claims Experience was assessed based on an audit of various processes and facilities offered by the insurers, during claim settlement.

The insurer boasts of a claim settlement ratio of 99.39%, with a claim amount settlement ratio of 89.38%. They provide online tracking of claims and a dedicated toll-free claims service. However, they do not offer a personal manager for claims and have a moderately long claim form. Also, they do not provide a home pick-up claim service.

Max Life Smart Secure Plus

Max Life Insurance Company holds an excellent track record with respect to both purchase and claim settlement experience. They have settled 99.92% of their claims in less than 30 days, with a relatively lesser number of claim complaints compared to other insurers. Max Life Insurance Company has a claim settlement ratio of 99.51%, and its claim amount settlement ratio is 96.71%. The plan provides online tracking of claims and a dedicated toll-free claims service. The insurer does not provide the benefit of a personal manager for claims. And the insurer does not provide a home pick-up of claims, unlike some other insurance companies. The claim form is moderately long.

In our research, we found that both their Twitter and toll-free service were found to be mediocre, compared to other insurers. This situation could potentially suggest that both you and your family might encounter challenges when seeking assistance from their service team throughout your journey.

HDFC Life Click 2 Protect Life

The HDFC Life Click 2 Protect Life Plan offers various customization options. However, unlike some other plans, it does not provide the option to choose the increasing cover. The HDFC Life Click 2 Protect Life Plan provides a life cover duration up to age 85, with several limited pay options ranging from 5 to (PT-1) years. You can pay premiums on a monthly, half-yearly, yearly basis. The only claim payout option available with this plan is a one-time lump sum payment. Additionally, the HDFC Life Click 2 Protect Life Plan offers riders such as a Comprehensive Critical Illness Rider, an Accidental Death Benefit Rider, and a Waiver of Premium due to Critical Illness Rider.

Max Life Smart Secure Plus

The Max Life Smart Term Insurance Plus Plan provides competitive pricing and a range of customisation options. One notable advantage of this plan is the flexibility it offers by giving you the option to increase your cover by 5% annually until your base policy cover is doubled. This begins from the 2nd policy year onwards. The Max Life Smart Term Plus Plan offers a life cover with a duration that extends up to the age of 70 years. It gives you various Limited Pay options, including 5, 10, 15 years, and pay till 60 years. The plan offers one claim payout option - One-Time Lumpsum. To enhance your coverage further, the Max Life Smart Term Plus Plan comes with several riders that can be added to the policy, like a Comprehensive Critical Illness Rider, an Accidental Death Benefit Rider, and a Waiver of Premium Rider (for both Critical Illness and Accidental Disability).
