  ・IndiaFirstLife Guaranteed Protection Plus Plan - Premium is calculated for a 30-year-old, non-smoker, married male, for a sum assured of INR 1 Crore, up to the age of 75 years, paying annual premiums for 40 years. 

  ・TATA AIA Maha Raksha Supreme - Premium is calculated for a 30-year-old, non-smoker, married male, for a sum assured of INR 2 Crore, up to the age of 65 years, paying annual premiums, till the end of the policy. 

6- The overall ratings do not include the premium rating. This is because we believe that the affordability of premiums is a personal thing. Something that seems unaffordable or expensive to one person could seem cheap and affordable to another, regardless of their income. We leave it up to our users to decide whether the price they pay seems reasonable for the features they receive.

7- The Response time on Twitter (Beta) was calculated using a sample set of tweets from February to August 2023 - (Analyzed in September 2023).

8- Claims Experience was assessed based on an audit of various processes and facilities offered by the insurers, during claim settlement.

LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India) maintains a successful track record. They have achieved a commendable rate of settling 97.95% of their claims within 30 days, with fewer complaints. Their claim settlement ratio is 98.52%, and claim amount settlement ratio is 96.02%. The best part is that they offer the advantage of a short claim form. However, it's important to note that Life Insurance Corporation of India does not offer a personal relationship manager for claims, a home pick-up claim service, or toll-free claim support. Furthermore, they do not provide online tracking of claims.

SBI Life eShield Next

SBI Life Insurance Company has a record of very good performance in both the purchase and claim settlement processes. They have settled 86.16% claims within 30 days and have received fewer claim complaints. Their claim settlement ratio stands at an impressive 93.09%, with a claim amount settlement ratio of 86.22%. They offer a dedicated toll-free claims service. However, they do not provide a personal manager for the customers and there is no opportunity to track your claim online. Home pickup claim services are also not available.

LIC Jeevan Kiran offers various customization options. It offers a life cover up to the duration of 70 years. The premiums are payable either monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annually. And, the payout options include a lump sum option and monthly instalment option. However, it doesn’t offer an increasing cover option or limited pay options. LIC Jeevan Kiran provides only 2 riders - Accidental Death Benefit Rider and Waiver of Premium Rider for Accidental Disability. You can include riders in your base policy to enhance its coverage.

SBI Life eShield Next

SBI Life eShield Plan provides flexibility and customization to meet your specific needs. There are several benefits of SBI Life eShield Next Plan, one of them is to increase your coverage by 10% from 6th policy year until the base cover gets doubled. Your coverage increases at the end of every 5th year. The SBI Life eShield Plan offers a life cover up to the age of 85 years (99 years if entry age is more than 45) with Limited Pay options like 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, 20, and (PT - 5) years. It also offers claim payout options, like one-time lump sum and monthly instalments.
