Introduction to Niva Bupa Health Companion

Niva Bupa Health Companion is a health insurance policy offered by Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited. A health insurance plan promises to pay for hospitalization expenses as well as expenses incurred before and after a hospitalization. It acts as a protective shield for savings and healthcare, so you and your family can live a happy, fulfilling life. Niva Bupa’s Health Companion Plan provides you with several features, benefits, and add-on covers to meet all of your and your family’s healthcare needs.

Verdict: Niva Bupa Health Companion

If you are looking for a plan that provides comprehensive coverage, this is a good option to consider. In addition to covering hospitalization and related expenses, it covers several other expenses including the cost of consumable items like gloves, oxygen masks, etc. Health Check-Up expenses are also covered from Day 1. Further, the plan provides you with an option to automatically increase your sum insured in accordance with the previous year’s inflation. On the flip side, however, this plan is slightly costlier than other products and does not offer the monthly premium payment option. And, our research suggests that the insurer has received fewer policy purchase complaints but a higher number of claim settlement complaints.
